Brymbo at OXRAIL 2016

At OXRAIL 2016

Brymbo had an outing this year to our exhibition on November 17th at the Matthew Arnold School in Botley. We had three boards on display and it seemed to generate quite a bit of interest. We had trains running on the standard gauge lines but had some problem with the narrow gauge system following a point failure replacement, which has since been resolved. We had the buildings all illuminated and the lifts, turntables, and tipplers all operational. It was nice to see all the present 3 boards combined and all the static grass in place. It was also a nice exercise in moving the layout from our home base in Risinghurst, something we had not done before in its entirety. Some pictures are included to show what it looked like (thanks to Pete Hirst for his photographs
